After graduating from Clemson University in 1960 with a Bachelor
of Architecture degree, Robert studied for a year in Italy at
the Academia di Belle Arte, Florence, and the Universita per Straneri,
Perugia. Upon returning to Columbia, he was a founding partner
of the architectural-engineering firm of GMK Associates. He has
served as its design director since 1967. He presently is exploring
figurative and non-objective subjects in a combination of media. |
